MarCum LX-5 Continued"TrueColor Display". TrueColor is MarCum Technologies answer to the display needs of the modern angler. This technology feature improves color separation and provides an ultra-crisp color display that is highly visible, even during bright sunny days. The LX-5 sonar flasher boasts an impressive 2,000 watts of peak to peak power. The advantage of the power factor comes into play with the implementation of MarCum's new TrueColor technology. This combination produces superior target separation even under very deep water conditions. Most importantly it features and advancement in the ability to see fish in heavy weed cover. The inclusion of a dual beam transducer, as a standardized equipment package, provides an unbeatable combination. Making the flasher even more user friendly, is the ability to switch between the eight and twenty degree transducer angles by simply pushing a button on the keypad. The LX-5 is MarCum's answer to the total package for ice fisherman and open water anglers alike. It is their most feature laden sonar flasher ever developed. Most importantly though, it is also the most powerful and most sensitive unit ever developed to increase fish detection for the discriminating angler.The LX-5 comes standard with a dual beam transducer. The LX-5 also features a patented twelve level “Interference Rejection” capability. This allows the angler 12 independent frequency settings to eliminate interference from other nearby sonar units. Another great advancement of the LX-5 are the abilities of the new patented zoom feature. This new technology allows the angler an unprecedented moveable zoom field. This new patented LX-5 technology allows the angler to actually zoom in on a segment of water anywhere within the water column. If you fish suspended fish you're going to love this feature. The LX-5 also features another MarCum Technologies breakthrough advancement in performance, "SuperFine Line". The new SuperFine Line technology allows the angler to increase the LX-5's display resolution even more. This lets you bring target fish separation down to .75 of an inch, making it even easier to see fish prowling the bottom lake floor. Whether you're over weeds, rocks, or on the flats, this new feature makes it much easier to see low profile, bottom hugging walleye and perch. MarCum has again outdone itself by including another added feature of the LX-5. It comes standard with a fully integrated state of the art battery charging system. This is a fully automatic, three stage digital charging system which needs no monitoring and prevents overcharging the battery and possible electrical damage to your investment.
