Dear Friends,

This year, August 21st to the 23rd Outdoor Adventures Magazine LLC will be participating in a very special event called the Twin Cities Breast Cancer 3-Day.

If you could take just three days to change a person's life would you?

I am looking to build a team where you will make that difference. Will you Join me together we will make that difference? As the team captain, with our team I'll walk 60 miles over the course of three days with thousands of other women and men. The net proceeds will support breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment through Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

As a team, we have agreed to raise at least $9,000.00 in donations. I know I can raise even more than that, and have set my personal goal at $2,300.00. So I need your help. Would you please consider making a donation of $100.00 or more. Keep in mind how far I'm walking - and how hard I'll have to train. I realize the tough economic times we are in. What I also realize through my own family members Cancer never takes a break. Through the approved training schedule I will walk over 210 miles by event day. Last year on a bike ride, I noticed a large group of walkers, dressed in wild cloths, and funny colored hair most in pink. Unknown to me this was the 3day walk. As I road next to all these walkers over 3,000 one thing I notice was how much everyone was enjoying themselves. When I heard the passion of their mission and just why they were doing this I was immediately moved and fell in love with this mission. Therefore, this year I will be a part of doing something so much bigger than me. Will you join me!

According to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, more than 200,000 American women one every three minutes will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. Nearly 40,000 women and 450 men will die from this disease. That is why I'm walking so far. To do something bold about breast cancer. I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me by supporting me in my fundraising efforts.
